As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA) in private practice in Seattle’s Maple Leaf neighborhood, I am passionate about working with young children and their families. Children are always expressing themselves through their actions and behaviors, sometimes in misguided ways. It is our job as caring adults to figure out what they are trying to communicate and help them transform those confusing and challenging feelings and create a greater sense of ease, calm, and safety.
A graduate of the Couples and Family Therapy and Art Therapy programs at Antioch University Seattle, I have also completed the extensive training required to be a registered Play Therapist upon licensure. In addition, I have significant experience working in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health, which focuses on children ages 0-5.
I create a warm, compassionate, and supportive therapeutic environment for children and adults. Working from a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive perspective, I believe that children are experts in play and parents are the experts in their children. Together we can build stronger families with greater balance.
